Once you get used to how he writes (the very long run-on sentences, the polysyndetic syntax, the lack of punctuation, the minimalism etc) you'll find Blood Meridian easier.If you feel inclined, try the audiobook. It's beautifully read and makes the tougher parts much easier to stomach.
